Submission Guidelines

General Instructions

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not currently under review by another conference or journal.

Papers must be written in English.
Standard length: 6 to 8 pages including figures and references.
All submissions must follow the conference template (Word/LaTeX).

Review Process

Each paper will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by at least three members of the program committee.

Plagiarism check will be performed on all submissions.
Selection is based on originality, relevance, and technical quality.

DR. KUO-MING CHAO

DR. KUO-MING CHAO

He is currently the Research Lead for the School of Computing, Engineering, and the Built Environment, University of Roehampton, England

Dr. Kuo-Ming Chao earned his MSc and PhD degrees from the University of Sunderland, UK. He is currently the Research Lead for the School of Computing, Engineering, and the Built Environment at the University of Roehampton. Prior to this role, he held positions at Coventry University and at the Engineering Design Centre at Newcastle University. From 2007 to 2008, he served as a short-term research fellow at the British Telecom Research Lab.

Professional Highlights

  • His research interests span AI agents, service-oriented computing, cloud and fog computing, and machine learning, with applications in fintech, e-business, advanced manufacturing, and energy-efficiency management
  • He has authored more than 210 refereed publications across books, journals, and conference proceedings
  • IEEE Technical Community on Business Informatics and Systems from 2019 to 2024
  • Co-founder and Managing Editor of Service-Oriented Computing and Applications, a Springer journal dedicated to advancing service-oriented computing

DR. QASEM ABU AL-HAIJA is Professor of Cybersecurity and Chair of the Department of Cybersecurity at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), ranked among the top 500 universities worldwide in the QS ranking. He leads three academic programs in Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), and Computer Game Development & Design.

Intersections of Rauzy Fractals: Arithmetic, Geometry, and Applications

Rauzy fractals naturally arise in the study of symbolic dynamical systems associated with substitutions and interval exchange transformations. They provide a fractal and geometric representation of substitutive sequences, highlighting deep connections between word combinatorics, symbolic dynamics, and fractal geometry.

The study of their intersections reveals rich arithmetic structures, hidden symmetries, and fractal dimension phenomena, thus offering new insights into the discretization of dynamical systems.
